We don’t enjoy this, but in our mission to build an awesome space we might have to revoke someone’s access. This could be you, and it could happen for a variety of reasons, some of which are more serious than others. Importantly, we reserve the right to deny access to anyone and for any reason.
Here are some examples of why we might revoke your access to our space:
- You endanger the health and safety of people in our space.
- This could include coming to the space when you know you’re infectious with COVID-19 or another transmittable disease.
- This could include posing a physical danger to others in our space.
- You don’t help build a supportive community.
- You don’t respect people’s boundaries.
- You don’t make those around you feel comfortable and welcome.
- You keep talking over others.
- You make someone feel excluded from the community.
- You give someone unwanted sexual attention.
- You repeatedly break or lose property.
- We’ll try to be forgiving with this, but if you walk out the door with our headphones all the time or you make a monitor disappear, sorry!
We’re ultimately driven by our mission, so if you’re not helping us build an energizing, supportive, and deeply caring community, we’ll have to say goodbye.
If someone is making you feel unwelcome or doing something you think isn’t right, please let us know anonymously or contact us.
